Socks and Shoes

Choosing which socks and shoes to wear and how to style them every day can be quite a struggle. But don’t panic we are here to help…

Patterned Socks

Do you need to add some colour to an outfit? look no further than a patterned sock. Throw on a white tee, jeans and a pair of Converse or Vans and you’ve got yourself an everyday outfit full of colour. Make sure your socks match and are hole-free.

Plain/Dress Socks

Standard black or grey make the best type of sock for if you work in an office or off to a wedding. Stay away from the white socks with a suit. If you really love your novelty socks, don’t hide them from the world and add them to any formal outfit. Go bold or go home!

Ankle Socks

Ankle socks sit on or above the ankle and protect your heels and ankles from rubbing. Perfect for your everyday trainers. You can buy ankle socks in a variety of colours so you can pick what colour depending on your mood. (These tend to be the socks that disappear whilst in the washing machine)

No-Show Socks

Getting that sockless look doesn’t mean you have to go sockless. A pair of no-show socks will keep your feet comfortable, stylish, and dry. Plus, they’ll stay put throughout the day without slipping off the back of your heel. No-show socks are ideal for both trainers and loafers.

Chunky Socks

Perfect for the colder months! A chunky wool sock can add that extra something to your outfit. When’s the best outfit to wear with this type of sock? Well with a pair of skinny jeans and a pair of Dr Marten’s.

White Socks

A pair of white socks with some chinos or jeans rolled up, showing off any pair of trainers is a popular look. Why not give it a try. The only bad thing with white socks is no matter how much you bleach or scrub them, they’ll only actually appear white for so long.

Socks and Sandals

Are socks and sandals acceptable? 100% Yes!

We’ve seen a huge rise in this trend hitting the high street with both men and women, and it’s fast becoming a style staple for the summer.
