The Inbetweeners returns… Well not quite, but we’re still excited. According to LADbible, the Inbetweeners actors Joe Thomas and James Buckley will be reuniting to produce a new sitcom which features the same amount of rudeness, foul language and jokes as our all time favourite comedy series.
In the new sitcom ‘White Gold’, James, who played Jay, and Joe, who played Simon, will act as double glazing salesmen from Essex. This new show is set in the 80s and features Ed Westwick from Gossip Girl, who will play Vincent, the box of the two former Inbetweeners characters.
White Gold has been written by the Inbetweeners creator, Damon Beesley, so you can expect the same level of comedy throughout this series. The humour is from the 80s era and he has said that he may offend some viewers with his humour.
Joe Thomas, who plays Simon in the Inbetweeners has hinted that the group may reunite at some point soon – We’re super excited about this!
The series starts on Wednesday 24th May and will air on BBC 2 at 10pm. It will consist of 6 episodes and it will also be available on catch up on iPlayer, so don’t worry, you won’t miss out on the excitement.
